  • Tri-County EMC Scholarships - due 10/15/2017
    The Tri-County EMC Foundation offers scholarships to students, especially non-traditional scholars, to help pay their college costs. Through Operation Roundup, a total of $4,000 will be awarded annually to students residing in the homes of Tri-County EMC Members. The applicant must be enrolled in any U.S. accredited college, university or technical college and have maintained at least a 2.0 average.

  • The Horatio Alger Scholarship - due 10/25/2017
    The Horatio Alger Association seeks to assist student who have demonstrated integrity, perseverance in overcoming adversity, strength of character, financial need, a good academic record, commitment to pursue a college education, and a desire to contribute to society.  Click HERE to learn more and to apply online.   • Hagan Scholarship Foundation - due 11/15/2017
    The Hagan Scholarship Foundation can award 350 scholarships for the 2018-2019 academic year!  The Foundation was created to help rural students graduate college debt free.  Need Based Merit Scholarships up to $40,000. Check it out at hsfmo.org
  • Sen. David Shafer Essay Scholarship Contest - due 1/1/2018
    As you know, Georgia's character education law encourages schools to help students develop positive traits. The traits mentioned in the law include courage, patriotism, citizenship, honesty, fairness, respect for others, kindness, cooperation, self-respect, self-control, courtesy, compassion, tolerance, diligence, generosity, punctuality, cleanliness, cheerfulness, school pride, respect for the environment, respect for the creator, patience, creativity, sportsmanship, loyalty, perseverance, and virtue.

Students who enter the contest could receive a scholarship of up $1,500.00, a congratulatory resolution from the Georgia Senate, and an opportunity to have lunch with Senator David Shafer, President Pro Tempore, at the State Capitol during the 2018 Legislative Session.
  • Mitchell & Crunk Scholarship - due 5/31/2018
    Criteria: Applicants must be attending college by the Fall 2018 semester. The Scholarship will be judged on merit and need. Academic achievements as well as any leadership experiences will be taken in to account.

    Deadline: May 31, 2018

    Award Amount: $500
